Hi! I am Becki O’Donnell. I am originally from Virginia but have called San Diego home for nine years now. I am a single mom to a 7-year-old daughter; we like to go to the beach and pet all the dogs. I love to read and drink coffee, often at the same time. I am a senior at San Diego State University (SDSU); my major is Sociology with a minor in Religious Studies. I started working with Dr. Welsh Carroll as a research assistant in 2020 and the work is compelling! I enjoy the focus on social change and civil liberties. I have a passion for helping people and I hope this work will benefit others, even if it is only in a small way.
